POS systems built for how your team actually works.

Modern, transparent point-of-sale for restaurants, retail, salons, repair shops, and tourist-season businesses. No multi-year lock-in. No padded interchange. We match the right POS to your business and the right processor to your statement.

  • Reporting that owners actually read
  • Best-fit processor on every install
Vertical fit

Who we place POS for in the Ozarks.

Branson, Hollister, Kimberling City, Forsyth, Reeds Spring — the Ozarks economy is dominated by tourism, hospitality, and small-shop retail. POS that works in a Springfield CPA office is not POS that works for a Branson seasonal restaurant. We match by vertical first.

Restaurants and bars

Tickets, kitchen-display, bar tabs, gratuity, splits, online ordering, third-party delivery. Modifier stacks that do not slow down a Saturday rush at Branson Landing.

Retail and gift

Inventory, barcode, multi-location, ecom sync, gift cards, loyalty. Tourist-season volume swings handled cleanly.

Salon and spa

Booking, stylist commission, retail-vs-service splits, gratuity. Owner reporting that does not require an accountant to read.

Repair and service

Work orders, parts, labor, invoice, deposit, signature capture, partial payment, customer history.

Mobile and food truck

4G/LTE-ready, offline-mode, lightweight terminal, tip-on-screen, real-time reporting.

Professional services

CPA, attorney, contractor, real estate. Surcharge-compliant programs where your category allows it.

What you avoid

The four games most POS sales reps play.

  1. Multi-year contracts: 36-48 month lock-ins with steep early-termination fees disguised as "equipment leases".
  2. Bundled tier pricing: "Qualified / mid-qualified / non-qualified" gymnastics that move every transaction up the cost ladder.
  3. Padded interchange: Inflating wholesale costs and pocketing the difference.
  4. Statement opacity: Hiding fees in service charges, regulatory fees, PCI fees, batch fees — until you read line by line, you cannot see them.

We use interchange-plus with every fee disclosed. The audit is the proof.

FAQ

Most-asked POS questions.

Do you sell or lease the POS hardware?
Both. Outright purchase, lease-to-own, or zero-down placement on qualifying processing volume. We will tell you which is cheapest over 36 months for your specific case.
How long is the contract?
No required multi-year contract. Most placements are month to month on the processing side. Equipment terms depend on your purchase model.
What if I already have a POS I like?
Then we just shop the processing side. We can keep your current hardware and put a transparent processor underneath. The audit will tell you whether the math is worth the change.

Choosing the right POS for your business model

Most POS shopping mistakes come from picking hardware before deciding what the system actually has to do. We start every POS engagement with a 15-minute call about workflow, ticket size, peak-hour concurrency, integration needs (accounting, inventory, payroll, online ordering, scheduling), and seasonality. Hardware comes after that conversation, not before.

How we match hardware to business model

What "no contract" actually means

It means month-to-month with no early-termination fee. Equipment is owned by you (or financed on terms you can pay off any time). Software subscription cancels at end of month. If your business closes, sells, or rebrands, you walk away clean.

Common questions we get

Can I keep my current POS but switch credit card processing?
Sometimes. It depends on the POS — some are locked to a specific processor by contract, others are open. We tell you on the first call.
Do you do hardware financing?
We can package it. The lender is the lender, not Steele Solutions. Approval is decided by the lender.
What about Square or Clover for a small Branson business?
Square works fine for very low-volume businesses where the simplicity wins. Above about $20K/month in card volume the markup vs interchange-plus usually exceeds Square's convenience. Clover varies by which Clover processor you sign with — Clover hardware is great, the processor agreements vary a lot.
Do you support online ordering integration?
Yes. Most modern POS stacks include online ordering. We help pick a stack where the online ordering economics make sense.

Same Jim. Same Kim. Every time you call.
